Financing Made Easy

Your new home can be financed through a construction loan which will convert into a traditional home mortgage once construction is complete. These loans, referred to as 1-Time Close loans, have several advantages:

  • The interest rate is locked at the time of the loan origination
  • Interest-only payments on disbursed funds (Draws) during the construction phase
  • Lot+Construction loan converts to permanent mortgage at the end of the construction phase

Conventional loans and other financing options, such as FHA and VA, are offered by some lenders for those that prefer and qualify for this financing.

The Steps to Finance Your New Home Build

Step 1. Select your lender
Step 2. Submit loan application
Step 3.  Lender approval of the borrower and builder
Step 4. Provide plans & specifications; an appraisal is ordered
Step 5. The loan closes and down payment is collected
Step 6. Construction is funded on a draw schedule
Step 7. The home is completed and final inspection is done
Step 8. The construction loan converts to the permanent mortgage
