The mining town of Ruby was established in Bear Valley during the 1870s and was a haven for cattle rustlers and other criminals. It was originally named Montana Camp because the miners were mining at the foot of Montana Peak. The Mercantile was begun in the late 1880’s by George Cheney, then purchased by Julius Andrews in 1987 who ran it until 1914. It was his wife who gave her maiden name, Ruby, to the new post office in 1910.

This Ruby home is build ready and designed on a back-sloping lot with open space surrounding you.

A very secluded area west of the patio and master bedroom will be your place of comfort. A mature mesquite bosque, a herd of deer to greet you at sunrise and beautiful sunsets to the west to end your day. An amazing way to start each day! You choose all the interior and exterior finishes to customize your dream home.

This Ruby design located on Lot 259, provides a view of the Rincon’s to the north and a striking view of Kitt Peak to the west.
